About me
I live on the outskirts of London with my husband and two children who are actually young men now.
I graduated with a degree in Economics from Cambridge University, trained as an Accountant in the US (where I lived for almost 7 years) and then moved back to the UK where I worked as a Management Consultant for 12 years. I stopped working in 2014 and since then I’ve been lucky enough to spend my time doing the things I enjoy.
I started mentoring children with the Prince’s Trust seven years ago and a few years later I became part of its Mosaic Regional Leadership Group, helping to provide strategic advice to increase The Trust’s impact within ethnic and other
underprivileged communities. At that time I also developed a regular meditation practice and trained as a Reiki practitioner.
Five years ago I decided to combine my passions and trained to teach mindfulness to primary school children. Since then I’ve been teaching mindfulness to children, families and adults.
My interest in crystals started in 2018 when I began making bracelets for myself and my family. On request I began making them for friends, and soon I was making them for friends of friends. It wasn’t long before CrystalObsessionbyNageen was born.
I know I shouldn’t be surprised but I am always amazed to see how people gravitate to the crystals that are right for them at the time, and by how much support and comfort the crystals bring to their owners even if they don’t have any particular beliefs or spiritual practices of their own. I love being part of the process that brings people together with their crystals.
These bracelets are not only beautiful pieces of jewellery but natural gemstones that will hopefully be with you, or the people you care about, for a very long time. I spend a lot of time trying to find the best quality crystals, make each bracelet to the right size, cleanse them energetically and charge them with Reiki. Finally I set the intention that they act for the highest good of the wearer. I put a lot of care into making each piece and I hope you love them as much as I do.
Best wishes,
Nageen
